so no takers for the shopping trip, sigh, guess its another pasta night since thats the only thing in the house...

so the question:
Could you live for say a month on just ONE item to eat everyday (like rice, pasta, bread.....)??? (and JUST that nothing else...so no sauce on that pasta...nothing on that bread---)

ok, I will give you that one...but highly doubt that they would have come up with the idea of smoke detectors....now I am leaning towards some company that wants to give taiwan and china more of our business (making the dumb contraptions....)....
never had one in my house as a kid--- never had a fire there either, and ones that I have had go off were all false alarms....its kinda nerve wracking to tell the firemen AGAIN this week that your neighbors (who were indian at that time) like to cook with LOTS of SMOKE...so the whole complexes detectors would go off---and they were very very very very loud (as in ear damage type loud).....it got old very very very fast....the one we had would also go off when we cooked (gee it was like almost right over the stove---who's dumb idea was that?????

so we would get out a fan and fan the dammmn thing until we were done cooking...what a pain the arse!!!)

oh yeah a question....

have you ever heard a smoke alarm go off that was not either a test or a false alarm????????? ever??????
